Responsibilities
Develop and maintain pricing models and assumptions for products, including travel and health.
Analyze and assess data to determine appropriate rates and pricing strategies.
Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for product profitability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Underwriting, Finance, Sales and Claims to ensure pricing strategies align with business goals.
Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to the Executive Management Team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and actuarial standards.
Participate in the development of pricing tools and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Support in the development and maintenance of pricing models, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Requirements
Master in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in pricing actuarial work, with a strong focus on non-life insurance (desirably, travel and/or health).
Proficiency in Excel
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex actuarial findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of machine learning or predictive analytics is highly desirable.
Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting is another key asset.
Prior experience working with large data sets and big data tools will help ensure efficiency and precision in complex analyses.
