Actuarial Specialist managing technical provisions and statistical methods for Tokio Marine Seguradora. Engaging in regulatory reporting and product enhancements while collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
Monitor and review technical provisions using statistical methods, proposing changes, adjustments and updates to criteria and methodologies as needed to meet legal requirements.
Review and improve studies and analyses of the sufficiency of established provisions in preparation for the actuarial audit and liability adequacy testing.
Review and enhance products by preparing technical notes and revising policy terms and conditions.
Review the calculation of retention limits through the application of statistical methods.
Monitor and support validation of monthly statistical information on premiums and claims, based on operational systems, for submission to the regulatory authority (SUSEP) and for the company's database.
Review materials for audit purposes based on requested items.
Review the calculation of minimum required capital for solvency monitoring by senior management and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Analyze movements in the balances of technical provisions for reporting to Tokio Marine Japan.
Develop and review technical studies based on database information to meet internal demands, legal requirements, and directives from senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science
Active MIBA certification
Strong knowledge of SAS
Advanced Excel skills
Intermediate English desirable for interaction with other Tokio Marine operations
Strong knowledge of capitalization company operations
Knowledge of technical provisions under the capitalization regime, PGBL and VGBL
