Business Development Lead driving Navy-related business growth and providing program management leadership at ERG.
Responsibilities
Lead and support business development efforts - Primarily for U.S. Navy opportunities, with potential to expand in time to other federal and non-federal clients
Provide oversight and participation in marketing meetings with prospective clients and teaming partners
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Navy stakeholders, program managers, and industry partners
Identify, qualify, and track new business opportunities aligned with ERG’s strategic priorities
Lead proposal planning and strategy, including win themes, teaming strategies, and competitive analysis
Oversee the preparation of proposals, including outlines, capabilities matrices, technical and management content, and reviews
Track business development activities and maintain accurate records
May serve as Program Manager on contracts, providing oversight of scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination
Requirements
Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 10 years in a role where 50% or more of time was dedicated to business development and marketing
Experience leading proposal efforts for federal government contracts
Proven ability to develop and maintain client and partner relationships in a professional services environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams
Must be within driving distance of the Washington, DC metro area and able to travel locally approximately 1–2 days per week
Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
