About the role
- Technically support commercial team on waste management solutions for environmental sustainability. Collaborate with clients and suppliers in assessments and solutions with a focus on quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the technical development of suppliers and provide technical support to the commercial team;
- Present technical solutions to clients and suppliers;
- Monitor and drive continuous improvement of received AFRs;
- Perform technical qualification of new suppliers following the Grand Quality Plan;
- Qualify new AFRs following the Grand Quality Plan;
- Monitor AFR performance together with the Manufacturing sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Chemical Engineering and/or related fields.
- Waste management;
- Energy matrix / alternative fuels;
- Production processes across different sectors and the main wastes generated;
- Waste treatment and disposal technologies (coprocessing, landfilling, incineration, biological treatment, among others);
- Facilities for preparing waste for energy recovery;
- Advanced English.
- Postgraduate degree in Quality Management and/or Project and Process Management.
- Knowledge of environmental solutions, waste quality, waste transportation, coprocessing or related areas;
- Risk analysis knowledge;
- Participation in and execution of audits;
- Knowledge of waste legislation and regulations;
- Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health & Safety);
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (NRs, e.g., NR1);
- Lean Manufacturing.
