Business Analyst responsible for pricing, data analysis and proposal coordination in aerospace industry. Research, develop cost models, and support bid efforts for government contracts.
Responsibilities
Research and analyze historical data, develop cost models to support customer bid and proposal efforts.
Build proposals for customers by collecting inputs, costs, and schedules from functional departments.
Interpret, compile, edit, and proofread text and data from various sources for use in technical documents, reports, and proposals.
Coordinate and track deliverables with program personnel.
Assist in the development, operation, and enforcement of internal controls and protocols.
Analyze data and prepare reports related to individual programs/contracts including monthly reports, weekly funding summaries, and contract life cycle status.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or closely related discipline, or equivalent level of demonstrated knowledge acquired through experience and/or other training.
At least 3 years experience in Engineering, Project Management, Government Contract Administration or related experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Comfortable presenting to audiences up to 10 people both virtually and in person.
Advanced mathematical skills. Comfortable with general accounting principles and earned value management.
Able to examine requirements and understand the underlying request as it relates to the project.
Must be able to multi-task in an environment where prioritization is consistently changing while ensuring all responsibilities are addressed.
Role requires significant use of Excel and other software. Must be able to understand Excel formulas, functions, and impacts of data inputs in complex spreadsheets.
PMP (preferred)
