About the role

Responsibilities
- Own and control the monthly financial close process
- Complete all activities and reviews to timetable, in line with control requirements
- Prepare, review and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including statutory accounts and SEC reporting
- Maintain strong balance sheet governance through analytical review, oversight of reconciliations
- Ensure correct accounting treatment for significant contracts, accruals, reserves and adjustments, in compliance with FRS102 and US GAAP
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, demonstrating controls, leading walkthroughs and responding to any queries
Requirements
- Degree level education with a recognised UK accountancy qualification, ACA or ACCA
- Experience managing month end close processes and financial reporting within a complex environment
- Technical expertise across FRS102 UK GAAP and US GAAP.
