About the role

• Legal Counsel negotiating contracts for wind energy projects in Austria. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and managing legal clarity from planning to implementation.

Responsibilities

• You draft and negotiate contracts for wind energy projects in the CNE region and develop innovative legal solutions together with colleagues.
• You support wind energy projects throughout the entire implementation and operational phases — from planning to repowering — taking responsibility for legal clarity and certainty.
• You work closely with technical and commercial teams in interdisciplinary teams and contribute your perspective as a team player.
• You support the CNE region as well as global functions in process design and optimization, thereby contributing to the strategic development of our organization and products.
• You participate in international corporate projects and bring a cross-functional perspective, including occasional business travel (0–20%).
• You share your knowledge through trainings and keep track of legal developments at all times.

Requirements

• You hold a university degree in law; admission to the bar is desirable and at least satisfactory grades are an advantage.
• You have several years of professional experience as in-house counsel or as an attorney.
• You possess contract law expertise, and providing goal-oriented legal advice that considers commercial and technical requirements is second nature to you; you can explain complex matters clearly.
• You can communicate complex content in an understandable way and communicate clearly and solution-oriented in German (C2) and English (B2), both written and verbal.
• You think critically and connectively, developing practical, solution-oriented approaches.
• Nice-to-haves: Ideally you have specialized in commercial (business) law or construction law.
• You have experience in an international corporate environment.
