- Providing operational management of production budgets and schedules
- Manage the production team including recruiting production coordinators and assistants
- Ensure freelance hires are booked in accordance with current employment/HMRC tax guidelines
- Managing risk management elements (insurance, health & safety etc.)
- Liaising with the finance team to ensure projects are invoiced in a timely manner
Requirements
- Experience in on site production
- Experience in managing junior production management personnel
- Ability to create a detailed, line-by-line production budget
- Knowledge of production and post-production technologies and workflows
- Knowledge of archive and music clearance
- Knowledge of production insurance, health & safety
- Experience of dealing with International and UK broadcasters, and an understanding of the UK TV and Digital industry landscape
