Staff IT Business Systems Analyst supporting and enhancing critical systems for Manufacturing Operations using Oracle and third-party applications.
Responsibilities
Provide production support for Manufacturing Operations systems, ensuring high availability and timely resolution of issues
Support, maintain, and monitor Oracle applications, including Oracle APEX, used across manufacturing and operational areas
Troubleshoot functional and technical issues within Oracle and integrated third‑party manufacturing systems
Collaborate with manufacturing, production, quality, and supply chain teams to understand business processes and system usage
Analyze incidents, service requests, and enhancement needs, documenting findings and solutions clearly
Use basic SQL queries to investigate data issues, validate transactions, and support troubleshooting activities
Participate in system enhancements, minor developments, and configuration changes following established change management processes
Coordinate with global IT teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex or cross‑functional issues
Create and maintain functional documentation, procedures, and user guides
Ensure compliance with IT standards, security policies, and manufacturing operational requirements
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience working as an IT Business Systems Analyst, Application Support Analyst, or in a similar role
Hands‑on experience supporting Oracle applications; exposure to Oracle APEX is an advantage
Basic SQL knowledge, including querying, simple joins, and data validation
Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments, such as MES, shop floor systems, or operational IT solutions
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
The ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into effective system support and improvements
Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
