About the role
- Experienced production leader managing operations in Croatia for KÖNIG METALL, optimizing processes and leading teams.
Responsibilities
- Organization, coordination and supervision of all phases of the production process
- Planning production capacities, resources and work schedules to ensure production targets are met
- Continuous improvement of process efficiency and quality according to Lean and Kaizen principles
- Monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Management of production costs and resources; optimization of material and energy consumption
- Leadership and development of the team — mentoring, training and motivating employees
- Collaboration with Quality, Logistics, Purchasing and Engineering departments to achieve operational excellence
- Implementation of quality standards and procedures in accordance with IATF 1694
- Ad-hoc resolution of complex production issues, including customer complaints, technical challenges and unforeseen situations, making quick and effective decisions to ensure production continuity
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable leadership role in production
- Solid experience with ERP systems (GoSoft advantageous) and strong MS Office skills
- Ability to motivate and lead employees
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Decisiveness, problem-solving ability and resilience under pressure
- Fluent Croatian and very good English or German, both written and spoken
