About the role

  • National Account Consultant managing complex accounts with a focus on client benefit plans at Elevance Health. Advising clients and coordinating with internal teams for optimal service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Advises clients on developing and designing specific benefit plans
  • Directs and coordinates benefit design issues and modifications
  • Analyzes client needs and develops, designs, and recommends product improvements
  • Develops relationships with existing accounts, members, and brokers
  • Builds relationships with clients to understand their benefits and objectives
  • Influences clients to add products or services
  • Delivers on client commitments
  • Acts as the lead in coordinating all internal partners
  • Coaches and mentors others as needed
  • Travels as necessary to meet with prospective clients

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales
  • Sales license required where necessary or the ability to obtain within 60 days
  • Experience in a client facing role preferred
  • Insurance experience preferred
  • Ability to travel preferred
