About the role

  • Paid Media Lead overseeing and optimizing paid advertising for a music industry disruptor. Managing agencies and driving user acquisition and revenue growth in on-demand vinyl records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage external agencies, including oversight of day-to-day ad execution, performance reporting, and alignment with business goals to ensure efficient and effective campaign delivery.
  • Lead creative content briefing processes and build/maintain a network of creative partners to produce high-performing ad assets tailored to various channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, product, etc.) to create and optimise channel-specific landing pages that enhance ad performance and user conversion.
  • Oversee budget pacing, allocation, and management across paid channels, ensuring spend aligns with ROI targets and adapts to real-time performance data.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis on campaign metrics (e.g.,CPC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, conversions) to derive insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and test new paid media platforms, ad formats, and tactics to expand reach and drive innovation in user acquisition.
  • Optimise campaigns based on results, A/B testing, audience segmentation, and evolving business needs to maximise efficiency and revenue impact.
  • Handle community management aspects of paid ads, including monitoring interactions, responding to comments/queries, and leveraging user feedback to refine targeting and messaging.
  • Take full responsibility for ad delivery, ensuring campaigns meet or exceed set benchmarks for key performance indicators like lead generation, cost per acquisition, and overall return on ad spend.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in paid media management, preferably in e-commerce, on-demand platforms, or high-growth digital environments with direct revenue accountability.
  • Proven expertise in managing paid channels such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, or similar; experience with agency partnerships is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Excel, SQL, Looker, or equivalent for data visualisation and performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling paid media campaigns, optimising for benchmarks, and driving measurable growth in leads, conversions, and ROI.
  • Experience with creative briefing, A/B testing, audience targeting, and multi-channel optimisation in fast-paced settings.
  • Familiarity with landing page development best practices and tools
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of community management in paid social contexts and compliance with ad regulations (e.g., GDPR, platform policies).
