Supply Chain & Procurement Manager for a D2C-Health-Brand managing supply chain from procurement to shipping. Ensuring product availability and efficiency in logistics processes.
Responsibilities
Responsibility for purchasing product goods and packaging materials.
Planning, managing and continuously optimizing the entire logistics chain (inbound, warehousing, fulfillment, outbound), as well as the supply chain - from procurement to shipping.
Building, maintaining and strategically developing our supplier relationships, including price, terms and contract negotiations.
Ensuring product availability through proactive demand forecasting and inventory planning.
Management of external fulfillment partners and coordination of inventory transfers between Amazon marketplaces and international sites.
Analyzing and monitoring key KPIs (e.g., product availability, procurement costs, lead times, return rates) and deriving concrete optimization measures and process improvements.
Managing special logistics projects, ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., customs, dangerous goods, packaging regulations) and working closely with product development, fulfillment and customer care.
Requirements
IMPORTANT: Our logistics partners are located in the Saarland. Occasional on-site visits are required. Therefore, it is important that you have a maximum travel time of 1.5 hours to Saarbrücken and Lebach.
At least 3 years of verifiable purchasing experience.
Several years of experience in a D2C e-commerce environment are essential for this role.
Experience negotiating with suppliers and building long-term partnerships.
Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes — both operationally and strategically.
Confident use of shop systems, project management tools, and Excel in day-to-day work.
Data-driven, structured and independent working style.
Ability to analyze complex processes and optimize them efficiently.
Very good German language skills (at least C1).
