About the role
- Senior MS-SQL Database Administrator responsible for managing database systems in a SaaS solution context. Supporting development and optimization of automated processes and reporting strategies.
Responsibilities
- Administration of MS SQL database systems (2014 and later) in failover cluster configurations.
- Implementing and further developing automated processes and reports (T-SQL scripting / SSIS / SSRS).
- Optimizing T-SQL statements and database structures.
- Release management (2014 and later).
- Advising and supporting system and application development on logical design, database technology, and database operations.
- Implementing and evolving reporting and analytics strategies.
Requirements
- Relevant experience administering MS SQL databases.
- Structured approach and the ability to work independently.
- Strong comprehension, analytical mindset, and structured thinking.
- Excellent knowledge of T-SQL.
- Knowledge of a scripting/programming language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#).
- Good experience with Windows Server operating systems (from 2012 onward).
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
