About the role

  • Data Integration Engineer at LeitArt focusing on Talend ETL processes. Involved in integrating data sources and optimizing data flows for scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

  • You develop robust ETL pipelines with Talend, integrate data sources, and optimize data flows for scalable architectures
  • You advise clients on the latest data integration capabilities, primarily using the Qlik portfolio (Qlik Talend Cloud, Talend Studio, Change Data Capture)
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes with Talend Studio and Qlik Talend Cloud
  • Connect heterogeneous data sources (SQL, APIs, flat files, cloud services)
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for batch and near-real-time processing
  • Perform data modeling and transformations for DWH and data lake architectures
  • Tune performance of data flows and optimize load processes
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and error handling in production pipelines

Requirements

  • You have solid experience in data integration and possess expert-level knowledge of Talend
  • You think in terms of data flows, know ETL best practices, and work in a structured, solution-oriented manner
  • Many years of hands-on experience with Talend products (Open Studio, Data Integration, Talend Cloud)
  • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and data flow design
  • Ideally, experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lakes
  • Analytical mindset and enjoyment of working independently with clients
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)
