About the role
- Data Integration Consultant developing ETL processes using Talend for dynamic projects. Collaborating with clients to integrate and optimize data flows with expert knowledge.
Responsibilities
- You develop robust ETL pipelines using Talend, integrate data sources, and optimize data flows for scalable architectures
- You advise clients on the latest possibilities in data integration, primarily with the Qlik portfolio (Qlik Talend Cloud, Talend Studio, Change Data Capture)
- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes with Talend Studio and Qlik Talend Cloud
- Connect heterogeneous data sources (SQL, APIs, flat files, cloud services)
- Build and maintain data pipelines for batch and near-real-time processing
- Data modeling and transformation for DWH and data lake architectures
- Performance tuning of data flows and optimization of loading processes
- Monitoring, logging, and error handling in production pipelines
Requirements
- You bring solid experience in data integration and master Talend at an expert level
- You think in terms of data flows, know ETL best practices, and work in a structured, solution-oriented way
- Many years of practical experience with Talend products (Open Studio, Data Integration, Talend Cloud)
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and data flow design
- Ideally, experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lakes
- Analytical mindset and enjoyment of working independently with clients
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken (min. C1 level)
