About the role

  • Asset Manager responsible for managing the financial health of EAH properties. Ensuring compliance with lenders, investors, and regulatory agencies in Honolulu, HI.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the long-term financial and physical health of EAH properties
  • Review and analyze the portfolio against benchmark performance
  • Develop corrective action plans for Watch List property issues
  • Monitor budget-to-actual variances
  • Communicate issues and proposed solutions to various departments
  • Acts as primary contact for lenders, investors, and regulatory agencies for budget approvals
  • Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as required
  • Analyze budgets against EAH benchmarks and goals
  • Work with Compliance Director to confirm Maximum Rent
  • Review budgets and participate in budget review meetings
  • Submit all reserve draw requests
  • Manage LIHTC capital accounts
  • Provides enhanced review and analysis of Watch List properties
  • Monitor properties moving into operations
  • Prepare DCR worksheets for perm loan closing
  • Complete Asset Management Plans and summary reports
  • Maintain and update fields and information in MRI

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/training/experience
  • 3 - 5 years in affordable housing
  • 1+ years reporting to and working with agencies such as HUD, TCAC, CHFA, HOME, USRDA, HCD, RHCP, and investors
  • Knowledge of YARDI & MRI Accounting and/or Finance Education
