About the role
- Senior Controller responsible for bank-wide controlling processes at Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG. Collaborating with management to provide economic guidance and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Independently design, coordinate and manage bank-wide steering and controlling processes
- Advise the Executive Board and other relevant stakeholders on economic issues
- Responsible for the further development of management instruments as well as controlling processes and methods
- Prepare robust financial analyses in the context of investment decisions and product development
- Own regular reporting of results and forecasts to the Executive Board
- Support monthly department reviews and conduct structured business discussions
- Prepare complex economic matters and develop convincing presentations
- Contribute controlling expertise to cross-departmental IT modernization projects
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics, business administration or a related field, preferably with a focus on controlling, mathematics or IT
- Several years of experience in controlling, especially in company- or bank-wide management
- Solid knowledge of management instruments and KPI systems
- Ideally experienced with SAP HANA and Power BI
- Familiarity with data warehouses
- German at C1 level and English at B2 level
- Ability to independently analyze complex topics and present results clearly
- Strong team player
- Confident communication skills in challenging discussions
