About the role
- Business Controller supporting the operational daily business and contributing to the development of controlling at infodas, an Airbus subsidiary specializing in Cyber and IT.
Responsibilities
- Support of operational day-to-day business and active contribution to the further development of the controlling function
- Responsibility for project controlling and acting as a knowledgeable point of contact for business units
- Support of the proposal process from a controlling perspective
- Contribute to budget planning and preparation of forecasts
- Prepare reports and analyses for management and the parent company
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monthly analysis of ongoing projects and cost centers and execution of variance analyses
- Respond to ad-hoc requests
- Analyze balance sheet- and P&L-relevant items from a controlling perspective and derive steering recommendations
- Actively shape the further development of reporting and cost accounting
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on Controlling/Finance, or a comparable commercial qualification
- Initial practical experience in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- IT affinity and experience with ERP systems
- Proficient in Excel, including complex analyses, pivot tables and formulas
- Basic knowledge of IFRS
- Good understanding of accounting for projects, revenues and provisions in the P&L and balance sheet
- Team player with strong communication skills, initiative and a solution-oriented work style
- Analytical thinking and a confident handling of numbers
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
