About the role
- Manager overseeing Energy Efficiency Business Products for Duke Energy, featuring regulated products and customer programs across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- oversee the management of regulated energy efficiency (EE) products, programs, and services offered to business customers across the Midwest and Carolinas jurisdictions
- provide leadership, management, supervision and guidance to a team with < 12 employees
- accountable for a budget of < $50M
- analyze and understand market feedback
- set strategies and plans to create customer focus
- drive enhancements to replace mature offers and build long-term growth
- ensure customer needs are satisfied and financial goals met
- develop, communicate and execute annual product plans
- establish organizational guidelines on team interactions and conflict resolution
- lead continuous improvement efforts to increase effectiveness of internal work processes
- engage with partners in development of future regulatory filings
- represent Duke Energy in public forums and industry boards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, marketing, or other related degree
- five (5) years minimum of related work experience
- In lieu of bachelor's degree, high school diploma/GED AND twelve (12) years minimum of related work experience
- Track record of achieving significant results in energy efficiency or adjacent businesses such as clean energy, transportation electrification, renewable energy, sustainability, solar, green spaces, etc.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
- Working knowledge of P&L financials unique to energy efficiency programs
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including communications skills, presentation skills, conflict resolution and management skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology product offerings and solutions
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and/or financial evaluation skills
- Ability to make decisions and execute with limited information
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
