Responsibilities
- Responsible for the ongoing accounting of multiple (international) entities, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Independently prepare and manage monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Perform account reconciliations and monitor open items
- Prepare and execute payment transactions; reconcile clearing/intercompany accounts
- Lead projects to simplify, standardize, and automate processes
- Manage the accounting team (currently 5 people)
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role within a dynamic corporate environment
- Degree or completed vocational training in business administration or finance
- Proficient in MS Office products
- SAP experience preferred
- Proactive, hands-on mentality with strong communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
