About the role

  • Accounting Manager responsible for financial reporting and compliance within Western Europe cluster. Leading accounting team and optimizing financial processes in Miele.

Responsibilities

  • Operational responsibility for the monthly and annual closing of accounts.
  • Ensure timely and compliant reporting in accordance with Miele guidelines and local legislation.
  • Responsible for all tax activities within the cluster.
  • Act as the compliance ambassador for the cluster, under the guidance of Miele headquarters.
  • Optimize local processes under the functional direction of the Accounting Director.

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge of accounting, tax and legal matters in an international context.
  • Degree in accounting/finance, preferably CFA, CPA, FA or equivalent.
  • Several years of leadership experience.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written); French is a strong asset.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working in a multinational, multi-site and multilingual environment, preferably within the Benelux and France.
