About the role

  • Senior Director, Marketing at Digital Realty, responsible for go-to-market strategy in APAC. Leading marketing operations and driving brand recognition across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a coherent go to market strategy to accelerate Digital Realty’s performance globally and to achieve our mid-long term market goals
  • Working within the Global structure, develop a strong brand focusing on Digital’s unique and compelling competitive advantage in order to drive customer recognition, stimulating demand across all regions
  • Build well-orchestrated market strategies that define the near- and long-term product and business strategy; create and drive customer and partner feedback loops where product plans are generated by real customer demand
  • Create an integrated go-to-market offering helping Digital play in both the colocation and scale space
  • Oversee and drive demand generation and marketing operations
  • Partner with the business to develop and execute against marketing strategies, while supporting a consistent Global brand image
  • Own and drive go-to-market strategies and plans including competitive analysis, pricing, sales enablement, and product marketing
  • Develop web and social media strategy in compliance with the Global and Regional marketing strategy
  • Oversee APAC campaigns throughout the lifecycle – launch, execution and wrap-up
  • Define and measure success while using key metrics to measure and track performance; support readiness and report performance of marketing campaigns and events
  • Coordination and development of all advertising collateral including working with third party agencies, self-developed materials and advertising sales; development and maintenance of all customer facing materials
  • Maintenance and ongoing creation of all corporate website activity
  • Provide leadership to product demand planning through projected product sales, improving the accuracy of revenue forecasts and the gathering and coordination of market intelligence within the guidelines of Digital corporate strategy
  • Management of the marketing budget, coordinating with Finance business partners as needed
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of customer acquisition analysis programs including win/loss analysis
  • Develop content for Analyst Relations and Public Relations communications collaborating with the Global IR team as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with all levels of management and with external constituents
  • Ability to clearly articulate value propositions of Digital Realty products and clearly differentiate Digital Realty product offerings from competitor offerings
  • Ability to effectively convey corporate offerings and value propositions in a clear manner through verbal and written means
  • Familiarity with Graphic tools including Photoshop ad Quark; ability to lead the design of customer facing documentation as a formal work product indicative of the professionalism of Digital Realty
