About the role
- Senior Manager responsible for global Facilities & Safety strategy at Diconium, ensuring compliance and managing external service providers to foster a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- define the global Facilities & Safety strategy and establish clear standards, policies and governance frameworks across all locations
- ensure full compliance with German and EU regulations
- manage external FM & HSE provider, including contracts, SLAs, KPIs and structured performance reviews
- coordinate inspections, audits, maintenance and all safety-related activities
- assess provider recommendations and translate them into clear internal decisions
- plan operational activities with Office Management and Design Offices
- act as the central escalation point for incidents, safety findings and compliance risks
Requirements
- at least five years of experience in Facilities Management, Real Estate Operations or Health & Safety
- experience managing external service providers
- navigating complex contract structures
- familiarity with German workplace safety, building compliance, fire protection and other relevant regulations
- clear, empathetic communication with strong stakeholder awareness
- structured, pragmatic and execution-focused work ethic
- fluent in German and English
