About the role

Responsibilities
- Advising female residents on health-related topics
- Identifying care needs, initiating care level assessments, and coordinating external outpatient nursing services
- Organizing and accompanying hospital stays
- Building and maintaining a network of local physicians
- Scheduling and accompanying residents to medical appointments; liaising with health insurance providers and payers
- Organizing and supporting community activities
- Close coordination and collaboration with social pedagogical specialists
- Documentation and record-keeping of work
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a qualified nurse and/or training in gerontopsychiatry, ideally with professional experience
- Empathy and professional competence in dealing with the life situations of our female residents
- Ability to work independently
- Good German language skills (B2)
- Basic PC skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Reliability and conscientiousness
- Enjoyment in working with formerly homeless women
