Responsibilities
Ensure planned production volumes through optimal use of raw materials, auxiliaries, operating supplies and energy
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Organize, direct and monitor all plant operations
Production planning with regard to quality, cost and on-time delivery
Continuous improvement of production processes in close cooperation with Process Improvement, Technology & Engineering
Support and initiate maintenance measures as well as NA projects
Promote efficient internal operational processes, including the CleanFactory concept
Increase plant availability and utilize statistical process control
Lead and develop production personnel (approx. 60 employees) with a focus on the foreman/supervisory level
Foster a performance-oriented, safe and team-focused working culture
Conduct employee discussions, performance reviews and personnel planning
Close cooperation with Purchasing, Supply Chain Management and other interface departments
Monitor compliant operation in accordance with permit requirements
Contribute to the preparation and updating of permitting documentation
Control and enforce work regulations and initiatives to improve occupational safety
Maintain and further develop the qualifications matrix
Support the development of new products and processes
Identify and implement optimization potentials to increase efficiency and quality
Actively contribute to transformation and modernization projects
Requirements
Completed degree in Metallurgy, Engineering or a comparable technical qualification (e.g., certified master/technician)
Several years of leadership experience in a comparable role, ideally in the metal, chemical or process industry
Solid knowledge of production and process optimization as well as project management
Team-oriented personality with a cooperative and respectful leadership style
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
