Sales Executive focuses on customer acquisition and partnership development in the logistics sector at DFDS. Works in a hybrid role based out of Hamburg, engaging with clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities
Independent acquisition of new customers in field sales as well as expansion of your regional customer portfolio
Establishment, maintenance and continuous development of a robust sales pipeline
Analysis of individual customer needs on site and development of tailored logistics and transport solutions
Responsibility for the entire sales process – from the initial meeting through negotiations to successful contract conclusion
Structured documentation of all sales activities in the CRM system
Pricing and preparation of proposals
Communication with sales teams from other branches
Preparation of tenders
Requirements
Completed vocational training or equivalent qualification—ideally in forwarding, transport, or logistics
Experience in international road freight preferred
Initial professional experience in sales
Very good communication skills in German and English
You demonstrate goal orientation, negotiation skills, flexibility, integrity, and a strong customer focus
Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
Experience with MS CRM desirable
