About the role

  • Sales Executive driving customer acquisition and strengthening partnerships at DFDS's Hamburg location. Responsible for developing transport and logistics solutions in a modern office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Independently acquire new customers in the field and expand your regional customer portfolio in Northern Germany
  • Build, maintain and continuously develop a robust sales pipeline
  • Analyze individual customer requirements on site and develop tailored logistics and transport solutions
  • Own the entire sales process – from initial meetings and negotiations through to successful contract closure
  • Document all sales activities in a structured manner in the CRM system

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or an equivalent qualification—ideally in freight forwarding, transport or logistics
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in inside or field sales at a logistics company
  • Solid understanding of road transport and short-sea transport
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • You demonstrate goal orientation, negotiation skills, flexibility, integrity and a strong customer focus
