About the role

  • PtP Junior Accountant managing financial transactions related to procurement and payments for DFDS. Collaborating with senior team members for accurate financial record maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing financial transactions related to procurement and payments for various DFDS entities
  • Invoices processing and accounts reconciliation with assistance of senior team members
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
  • Assisting senior team members in maintaining accurate financial records
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationship with Suppliers and Local Business Units
  • Handling e-mails and phone calls related to payment statuses
  • Supplier ledger controlling with assistance of Senior Team Members
  • Supporting Team Members in month-end closing activities
  • Performing assigned tasks, including invoice processing and costing

Requirements

  • Ability to build a good working relationship within the Team and with Suppliers
  • Confident in communicating in English during daily work
  • Diligent and accurate when working with documents
  • Interested in developing your career within Finance
  • Accounting knowledge and/or experience
  • Experience within D365 software will be an asset
