About the role

Responsibilities
- Independent and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) for multiple business units
- Review, coding and posting of all ongoing business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and financial accounting
- Reconciliation of profit & loss and balance sheet accounts and clarification of accounting items
- Preparation of the monthly VAT return (Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung)
- Participation in projects to further optimize and digitize finance-related processes
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter / Financial Accountant
- Several years of professional experience in comparable positions
- Strong, reliable knowledge of HGB accounting standards
- Very good proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
- Structured, service-oriented working style and an analytical mindset
