About the role

  • Support Engineer for electrical components with emphasis on inverter technology in wind energy sector. Collaborating with teams to optimize processes and ensure technical support for operations.

Responsibilities

  • Technical point of contact for service technicians, customers and contractors for inverter technology
  • Analyze and rectify faults on inverters
  • Support service teams in the repair and maintenance of wind turbines
  • Create work instructions, maintenance documentation and RAMS
  • Review work orders and technical documentation for inverter technology
  • Monitor the performance of wind turbines and derive measures for improvement
  • Support the technical preparation of proposals for repairs and retrofits in the area of inverter technology

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an electrician/mechatronics technician and/or technician qualification and/or a degree in engineering
  • Several years of experience with inverters, particularly on Senvion®, Nordex®, Fuhrländer® and GE® wind turbines
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident user of common Office programs
  • Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
  • Team player, fit for working at heights and physically fit
  • Driving licence (Class B) and willingness to travel occasionally
