About the role

  • Energy Analyst involved in market scheduling and compliance for renewable energy projects. Contributing to analysis, reporting, and automation in U.S. energy markets.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in analyzing market scheduling
  • Implement FTR strategies
  • Streamline reporting of KPIs
  • Conduct DART and Basis Analysis
  • Conduct daily analysis of transmission topology, outages, and other factors
  • Monitor market trends and changes to optimize scheduling processes
  • Responsible for the automation and deployment of software tools to support daily scheduling efforts and internal reporting
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the U.S. energy market dynamics

Requirements

  • 3-10 years’ experience in US energy markets
  • Knowledge of market scheduling processes, market rules and energy market fundamentals in at least two major US ISOs
  • Familiarity with trading-related software tools - i.e. Dayzer, Enverus/Panorama, or related softwares
  • Prior experience in solar, storage or wind preferred
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to program (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar) is preferred
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
