About the role

  • Technical Support Agent managing IT systems and providing user support at Desjardins. Responsibilities include platform administration, equipment management, and user training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIC platform administration activities (e.g., server shutdown and start-up, verify automatic system operations, manage access groups, perform maintenance on the backup unit, and recover files)
  • Perform basic network activities (e.g., reset passwords, configure new users, carry out regular maintenance procedures)
  • Manage computer equipment and technological systems (e.g., desktops and laptops, printers, telephone systems, office phones, cell phones, and alarm systems)
  • Produce and transmit reports on issues encountered and perform follow-up activities
  • Compile various statistics and other data on compliance with service standards
  • Inform the Help Desk Services team of required changes to computer equipment, as needed
  • Carry out activities related to systems and technological equipment (e.g., activation, configuration, maintenance, and repair)

Requirements

  • College diploma in a related field
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Sound decision quality
  • Situational adaptability
