Responsibilities
Coordinate and track capital projects, renovations, and building initiatives in the Aurora office and assist at other locations
Assist in coordinating with both internal teams and external vendors including engineers, architects, HVAC specialists, and building system consultants
Assist in the preparation and issuance of RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
Provide coordination support for tenant improvements and base building renovations
Assist with scheduling, site coordination, and issue tracking during project execution
Assist in coordinating energy efficiency and building decarbonization initiatives
Provide coordination support during building incidents and emergency situations
Assist in maintaining and updating emergency preparedness plans and documentation
Maintain organized project records, including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports
Assist in tracking permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or in a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in project coordination, real estate, construction, or facilities management
Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and CADD
Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of construction or building systems is an asset
