Responsibilities
- Help serve, solicit and develop and maintain personalized business relationships with mass-affluent and high-net-worth members
- Develop personalized strategies and offer banking products and services
- Serve as a debt management and financing expert advisor
- Offer financial services and provide advice on savings, investments and everyday financial transactions
- Work closely with the wealth manager and the business centre manager, serving as a partner and supporting business relationships with clients
- Identify current and potential needs, with a focus on growing the wealth of members and clients
- Analyze, answer, handle and follow up on member/client queries about banking services
- Stay on top of the latest standards, products and services in your field
- Negotiate credit conditions in accordance with risk management and profitability standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of financial, economic, political and legislative events
- Knowledge individual markets, business leaders, and the caisse’s external environment (e.g., clientele, market and competition)
- Knowledge of tax and financial issues for individuals and business owners
- Knowledge of all products and services aimed at caisse members and those offered by Desjardins business centres, Desjardins components and Desjardins distribution networks, and those offered by the competition
- Knowledge of the philosophy and fundamentals of a financial services cooperative
- Knowledge of policies, legislation and standards as they relate to caisse products and services
- Knowledge of Desjardins business processes
- Knowledge of Service standards
- Knowledge of Debt management
- Knowledge assessment and follow-up techniques applicable to financing requests
