Responsibilities
- Manage the income tax compliance aspects of a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all income tax compliance related matters.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Review work completed by junior team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and impact on our clients’ income tax returns.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing training and support as needed.
Requirements
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in reviewing income tax returns and managing a portfolio of income tax compliance clients.
- Experience in dealing with the income tax compliance aspects of offshore funds, trusts, High Income Earner Restriction and Estates would be beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
