About the role

  • Senior Airworthiness Specialist at Boeing's CASO ensuring safety and excellence in aerospace. Involves certification activities on 737 MAX development programs with industry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ample visibility and actively work with functional and programmatic executive leadership of performance success, issues and procure leadership intervention when necessary.
  • Implement process improvements drawing on cross functional expertise to innovate practical, sustainable solutions to increase engineering on time completion of corrective actions plans.
  • Partners with enterprise groups to continuously improve our processes and tools to ensure we are ready for the future of BCA and to ensure these processes are consistent with the greater Boeing Enterprise.
  • Coordinating the development of issue papers.
  • Assessing certification plans.
  • Developing certification approaches/strategies with the Federal Aviation Authorities (FAA), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical focal across the enterprise.
  • Assisting in the development of technical briefs for domestic and foreign regulators.
  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Requirements

  • Level 4: 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 5: 15+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working 14 CFR Part 25 and EASA CS-25 aspects
  • Experience with regulatory agencies' procedures and process
  • 6+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of experience working in a function or program
  • Experience with project management and self-managing projects
