About the role

  • Key Account Manager responsible for revenue development and client relationships in Southeast region. Collaborating across departments and addressing customer inquiries for LED-based lighting solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for revenue development in the Southeast sales territory
  • Expansion and maintenance of business relationships and identification of market potential
  • Expansion and deepening of an interdepartmental contact network at strategic and prospective customers
  • Acquisition of customer-specific project inquiries
  • Technical customer consulting on the application of standardized catalog products
  • Coordination and interface with the customer in the context of proposal preparation by the internal sales team
  • Systematic tracking of customer-specific and standardized offers
  • Identification of product trends in the market for new innovations and submission of proposals for new products
  • New customer acquisition for the entire product portfolio

Requirements

  • Completed technical degree or comparable qualification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics
  • Sales experience (at least 1–2 years) with technically complex products, ideally in the area of LED-based solutions for ambient and functional lighting as well as modern control and display elements for device fronts
  • Goal-oriented and reliable personality who pursues set targets ambitiously and actively contributes and implements own ideas to the further development and management of key accounts
  • Strong moderation, presentation and project management experience
  • Negotiation skills, customer- and solution-orientation, and empathy
  • Confident use of MS Office applications
  • Work based at the headquarters in Erkrath
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight
  • Car driving license
