About the role

Responsibilities
- Deeply understand the business domain, customer needs, and regulatory context of financial services
- Act as the main QA point of contact for business and technical stakeholders
- Shape, own, and continuously improve the overall testing
- Recommend process improvements and refinement of QA practices across teams
- Ensure quality is embedded early in the delivery process
- Balance hands on testing with leadership and strategic responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support other QA team members
- Analyse and clarify requirements, specifications, and technical documentation
- Assess risks, prioritise testing accordingly, and proactively communicate issues
- Track quality issues, provide clear reporting, and drive resolution
- Define and monitor quality metrics
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software testing
- 5+ years in leading projects and resources
- Proven experience managing mainframe projects
- Experience shaping and implementing testing strategies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps environments
- Experience with standard testing and defect-tracking tools and QA processes
- Experience working in Waterfall and Agile teams
- Bachelor's degree or comparable knowledge and experience.

- Experience in Stocking or financial services (preferred)
