About the role

  • IT Administrator managing device lifecycles and providing technical support at DataGuard. Enhancing hybrid collaboration setups and improving IT workflows for a security and compliance tech company.

Responsibilities

  • You serve as the go-to expert for first-line technical support, resolving complex issues across devices, Microsoft 365 applications, connectivity, and system access with professionalism and precision.
  • You manage user and group lifecycles in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), ensuring secure provisioning, license management, and access control across Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related M365 services.
  • You own the full device lifecycle from procurement and provisioning to onboarding, recovery, and replacement, ensuring every setup aligns with security standards and user policies.
  • You assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Teams Rooms systems, ensuring meeting spaces are equipped with the necessary hardware (e.g., cameras, microphones, displays) and integrated seamlessly with Teams for reliable hybrid collaboration.
  • You oversee IT asset management, keeping hardware and software inventories accurate, optimized, and compliant.
  • You continuously improve IT documentation, automation workflows, and security configurations including Intune, compliance, MFA, and DLP to ensure scalability and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • You have 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT administration or IT operations, preferably in a cloud-first environment.
  • You’re confident working with Windows and macOS systems, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management, including MFA, SSO, and conditional access policies.
  • You have foundational knowledge of Intune, PowerShell, and core IT security principles.
  • You’re detail-oriented and take pride in stability and precision, bringing a strong service mindset and genuine motivation to help others, solve problems efficiently, and keep systems running smoothly.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences, document with precision, and continuously learn to stay ahead of new technologies.
