About the role
- Nurse Unit Manager leading high-performing clinical team in Adult Mixed Specialty Unit at St Vincent’s Private Hospital. Overseeing daily operations, mentoring staff, and driving clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Ready to take charge of a fast-paced and high performing clinical team?
- Lead our Adult Mixed Specialty Unit (Ward 1B) to drive clinical excellence at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy Medical/Surgical ward, to empower and mentor nursing staff and to champion clinical excellence, safety and our patient experience.
Requirements
- Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse
- Recent experience as a Nurse Unit Manager in ideally, a private acute hospital setting
- Experience in mentoring and leading large teams
- Demonstrated achievement of organisational targets, in resource management, budgeting and workforce planning
- Experience providing advanced clinical care consistent with our mission and philosophy of our hospital
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
