About the role

  • Lead IT project management for a dynamic company in Bremerhaven. Oversee digital project implementations and team development in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead (both professionally and disciplinarily) a team of IT project managers.
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of our digital projects.
  • Work closely with executives, business units, and internal and external customers and partners.
  • Further develop our project management organization and the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Manage your team’s project portfolio in alignment with company objectives.
  • Independently plan and execute challenging IT projects.
  • Develop our project management standards and introduce new methods and tools.
  • Communicate clearly at all levels and collaborate closely with stakeholders.
  • Ensure project budget and resource planning.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience leading project teams or working as a project manager with leadership responsibility.
  • Solid knowledge of traditional and agile methods is desirable (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Scrum).
  • Process-oriented thinking, ability to set priorities, and composure under pressure.
  • Ability to inspire your team, act as a confident interlocutor at all hierarchy levels, and communicate complex topics concisely.
  • Comfortable working in a heterogeneous IT landscape and understanding the requirements of modern IT projects.
