About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing projects for transmission lines and substations at Black & Veatch. Managing project schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication while promoting a safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Execute projects with substantial impact within various communities
  • Own a variety of projects in the electric grid space including innovative and proven technologies
  • Promote safety culture
  • Respond to RFPs and prepare proposals for services work
  • Lead project team in conceptual design and procurement phases
  • Manage schedule, budget, and scope of services projects
  • Interface between clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Work in both corporate and field environments

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience including high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage substations
  • Experience in multiple phases of project execution
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree
  • PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license
  • Must complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search
