About the role
- Technical Lead driving integration solutions within Azure for Datacom across New Zealand. Mentoring teams and ensuring high-quality and performant solutions for clients' evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of integration developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Design and architect robust and scalable integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, etc.).
- Leverage deep expertise in Azure integration patterns and best practices to deliver efficient and effective solutions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of integration solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Design, develop, and manage APIs using Azure API Management, ensuring security, scalability, and discoverability.
- Lead the team in resolving complex integration issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments, promoting automation and efficiency.
- Optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements
- Extensive Azure Integration Experience: 5+ years of experience designing and implementing integration solutions within the Azure cloud.
- Deep Azure Integration Services Knowledge: Proven expertise in Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, and other relevant Azure integration services.
- API Development & Management: Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development, with experience in API Management.
- Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python).
- Database Expertise: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB).
- CI/CD & DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Relevant Certifications (Preferred): Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate) are highly desirable.
