About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for acquisitions and growth in Retail sector. Leading digital transformation projects while managing client relationships in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • New customer acquisition across the German retail sector
  • Management, expansion and strategic development of newly acquired customers as well as well-known existing clients
  • Marketing and sales of modern digitalization and rollout projects, including: Mobile Device Management, Wi‑Fi solutions, Electronic Shelf Labeling; cross-selling across all Damovo business areas — from Unified Collaboration & Video to Network & Security
  • Offering and positioning of our Managed Services and consulting services
  • Leading sales and contract negotiations, preparing account and business plans, and taking responsibility for revenue and margin within your customer segment

Requirements

  • A degree in a technical field or business administration, or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in the retail sector, preferably within the portfolio areas mentioned
  • Proven success in building and developing national or international key accounts
  • Ideally product and contract knowledge as well as sales certifications from leading vendors
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and a confident demeanor
