About the role

  • Intern supporting legal initiatives in a rapidly growing biotechnology company. Gaining hands-on experience with commercial operations, compliance, and intellectual property matters.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Legal Department with a variety of projects and responsibilities
  • Assist with the drafting, review, and negotiation of standard commercial agreements in collaboration with internal teams such as sales, marketing, research and development, finance, operations, business development, and human resources
  • Support legal matters related to international operations, including distribution agreements, data privacy, HR matters, and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with intellectual property portfolio management and review of marketing and promotional materials
  • Support business development transactions and strategic initiatives
  • Assist with corporate governance, SEC reporting, securities matters, and global compliance programs, as needed
  • Maintain legal databases and supporting document organization and records management
  • Conduct legal research and preparing summaries or memoranda on relevant topics
  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives led by the Legal Department

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or J.D. program at an accredited U.S. college or university OR graduating in Spring 2026 with a major in law, legal studies, or a related field
  • Ability to complete an 8–10 weeks internship between June and August
  • Must be able to work on site for the duration of the internship
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in law, particularly within the biotechnology or life sciences industry
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgment.
