Responsibilities
Assist the Legal Department with a variety of projects and responsibilities
Assist with the drafting, review, and negotiation of standard commercial agreements in collaboration with internal teams such as sales, marketing, research and development, finance, operations, business development, and human resources
Support legal matters related to international operations, including distribution agreements, data privacy, HR matters, and regulatory compliance
Assist with intellectual property portfolio management and review of marketing and promotional materials
Support business development transactions and strategic initiatives
Assist with corporate governance, SEC reporting, securities matters, and global compliance programs, as needed
Maintain legal databases and supporting document organization and records management
Conduct legal research and preparing summaries or memoranda on relevant topics
Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives led by the Legal Department
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or J.D. program at an accredited U.S. college or university OR graduating in Spring 2026 with a major in law, legal studies, or a related field
Ability to complete an 8–10 weeks internship between June and August
Must be able to work on site for the duration of the internship
Strong interest in pursuing a career in law, particularly within the biotechnology or life sciences industry
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines
Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgment.
