About the role

  • Advanced Eligibility Consultant managing complex eligibility issues for CVS Health. Responsible for client consultation, team mentoring, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for complex and high valued clients
  • Work and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision
  • Consultative in nature when working with other departments, clients, and brokers
  • Coach and mentor junior staff and develop training plans
  • Maintain processes regarding billing and claims processing, insurance verification and authorization, revenue cycle management, and compliance & documentation
  • Reconcile issues to ensure accurate billing and satisfactory customer experiences

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with eligibility, particularly within the commercial health insurance industry
  • Proficiency in processing accurate and timely policy and eligibility data
  • Experience using QuickBase
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Windows, and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities
  • Knowledge in auditing and a proven ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma or GED + 4 years of relevant experience)
