About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversees the financial operations and ensures accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Supports financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
- Manages accounting processes and ensures compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Assists with fulfilling statutory reporting requirements including the preparation of full disclosure financial statements
- Supports team with general accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and month close support
- Assists with the preparation of statutory financial statements and accompanying footnote disclosures
- Prepares validations and tie-outs of journal entries and system postings
- Participates in analytical reviews of statutory financial statements
- Collaborates with multiple departments to gather financial data, provide insights, and support the statutory reporting process
Requirements
- 5+ years of finance/accounting experience
- Public accounting experience or experience with fulfilling external audit requests (preferred)
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Analysis for Office (AO) (preferred)
- Familiarity with Excel and working with large data sets (preferred)
- Certified public accountant (CPA) (preferred)
- Bachelors degree required or equivalent years of related experience
