About the role

  • Outside Sales Representative managing sales territory for food distribution in the Greater Toronto Area. Responsible for prospecting, customer relationships, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a sales territory within the GTA
  • Prospect new customers through cold calling, site visits, referrals, and networking
  • Build long-term relationships with chefs, buyers, and store managers
  • Present and sell our product portfolio with confidence
  • Manage pricing discussions, promotions, and product launches
  • Grow existing accounts and increase order volume
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM and digital tools
  • Work closely with operations and customer service to ensure excellent service
  • Monitor competitors and identify market opportunities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (foodservice / CPG / distribution preferred)
  • Proven ability to prospect and close new business
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Organized with strong time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
  • Comfortable using CRM and sales tools
  • Bilingual English / French is an asset
