Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, the candidate will be assisting and supporting the Quality Engineering role of an assigned project
- Review & interpret purchased and manufactured product drawings
- Learn defect evaluation techniques
- Gain understanding of inspection / quality test equipment capabilities
- Review opportunities for improvement and help identify a solution using data
- Work closely with production employees & supporting roles to gather data
- Work with external vendors / suppliers to support problem solving / solutions
- Will be given assignments and projects to illustrate key learnings and knowledge of Quality Engineering Principles
Requirements
- Candidate must be enrolled and pursuing an Engineering degree with an interest in Quality
- Proficiency in using excel and pivot tables
- Good analytical and communication skills required
- Must have own reliable means of transportation
